Chef Z is a Baltimore, Maryland native who has enjoyed cooking at a very young age. She would dabble in the kitchen with making snacks for her big sister and cousins. She later realized she wanted to become a chef after cooking for the family while in middle school. Chef Z was determined to attend one of the best culinary schools and left the rest to fate. In high school she applied to one college and her fate allowed her to attend her first choice, Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC.  The rest is history. 

Chef Z has learned from the best and is ready to cater to your needs at the Women Entrepreneur's Gala as your Executive Chef. She will be joined by her sous chefs who have also attended Johnson & Wales. You are in for amazing cuisine which will be paired with the most tasteful wine!

Makeup Artist and St. Louis, Missouri native, Crystal Jennings has always been fascinated with beauty since she was a child. In fact, she was so infatuated with makeup and fashion, that she earned the nickname “Glamour Girl” from a close neighbor and friend at the age of 13! While living in Chicago, Illinois Crystal was inspired to learn how to do makeup on her own and began to teach herself the basics of makeup application. Within just two years Crystal was able to master her craft and begin her own business, About Face Makeup Artistry LLC in Detroit, Michigan. Her professionalism and excellent customer service grew popularity, and her brand became well known throughout Detroit. Crystal states, “It was in Detroit that I was inspired by prominent and successful businesswomen how to stand out from other artists and give my clients an experience!”

After some lifestyle changes, Crystal made the decision to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina with dreams of opening up one of the first makeup studios in the“Queen City.” With the studio opening underway, Crystal now provides full face makeup along with other beauty services in Charlotte, tailored specifically to meet the needs of her clients. Crystal states,“My makeup is clean, classic and diverse. Knowing every skin type and tone is key to a flawless makeup application. I simply enhance the beauty that is already there!

Crystal has been featured on Fox 2 Detroit Style File, WSOC-TV Channel 9, Charlotte Access 21, Detroit Hot Hip Hop 107.5, Detroit 88.1 FM, The Walk Fashion Show, The Posh Deux Fashion Show, and The Carolina Weddings Show. TaShara B. is the CEO of Body Me By Chee Boutique & Spa. She hails from Toledo, Ohio as a creative and compassionate business owner representing multiple platforms. Her journey of life began in Toledo, Ohio where the birth of her dedication of giving back to her community was formed. It was her parents who provided proper parenting and quality education. 

TaShara made the decision to relocate after graduating college as a Surgical Assistant to pursue her career in Charlotte, NC in 2012. No job, just confidence, she took the leap of faith, and her life change began. Working at an eye surgery center, she was doing whatever it took to get into her specialty field that she dreamed of and work beside plastic surgeons. It wasn’t easy. She absolutely hated work in optical surgery. One day, she received a call from a director about a position based on qualifications on her resume. He asked, “Are you making over six figures, and do you love what you do”? That was enough for her to turn her 'why' into 'why not'. 

TaShara has been successful with building her empire as owner and creator of Chee Boutique & Spa (2014). She was eager to promote self-awareness, fashion, and feeling great while defining your fashionista inside and out. Confidence In A Cup (2017) focuses on assisting young women by pouring into their inner beings, building confidence, providing support through financial opportunities with fundraising and scholarships.

TaShara opened Safety NEST (2019) offering necessary emergency training from CPR to mental health, and first aid with over 35 instructors in multiple states. Body Me By Chee Boutique blossomed after a vision to keep the boutique going during the pandemic providing more products and new services focusing on wellness, beauty with body treatments, holistic and natural alternatives. With her experience and creativity, TaShara has been able to achieve public speaking, hosting her own events, sponsorships, mentorship, business consulting, while remaining active within her community.
